Rescue candidates are expected to have good swimming skills. Be prepared as you will be required to do a swim test before commencing water works for the course.

 

Emergency First Responder course will be conducted prior to the rescue course and will take about 6 hours so prepare a day for that. Let me know if you have current and renewed training in first aid and CPR you may be exempted from doing the EFR course.

 

During EFR you will be thought how to use pocket masks for CPR. You are encouraged to purchase one before the course. I do offer good quality pocket masks for sale from Laerdal @ MYR80 each.
